Cortney Oswald, CP

Cortney is an ABC certified prosthetist who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998 before going on to complete her graduate work in prosthetics at California State University in 2000. She specializes in lower extremity prosthetics including transfemoral, transtibial, and running style prosthetics as well as subischial and elevated vacuum designs.

“I have a passion for achieving the best outcome for my patients,” says Cortney. “I am currently involved in the NIH funded outcomes based MPlus study, a two year study led by the University of Miami’s Robert Gailey PhD, PT.”

Cortney recruits and supervises NCOPE residents for POSI. Her product training includes the new Genium microprocessor knee, the Symbionic leg, Proprio foot, BioM power foot, and the entire line of seal-in liners.
